Beeches Farm Frequently Asked Questions
1. How is my meat delivered? We deliver the meat locally in chilled packages and use an overnight courier for national deliveries. The local deliveries are charged at a fixed rate of £5 and national deliveries are £8. This ensures you get your meat in perfect condition. The meat is delivered fresh, so will be perfectly fine in your fridge for a week or, if you are not sure when you will eat it, put it into the freezer, and use within 6 months. 2. When is my meat delivered?Once we receive your order it will take us a little while to process the order, then we will email or telephone you with a date to expect delivery. We aim to have your meat with you within a week to two weeks of your order being placed but this can depend on our finishing of the animals. National deliveries are made using an overnight courier, and we expect the deliveries to arrive in the morning. 3. What happens if I am not in when my meat arrives? We ask the courier to leave the package in a safe place - normally in the porch, on the doorstep, in a shed/garage or behind a bush. 4. How is the meat packaged? Our meat is vacuum packed (this keeps the meat sealed) and placed in insulated boxes containing ice packs. This keeps it chilled during delivery. 5. How do I pay?We are not entirely happy with internet credit card transactions so we like to take the details more directly. You can either email an order with credit card details, post an order with credit card details or cheque made out to 'Beeches Farm' or telephone your order. For the ultimate security and delivery you can visit us but please call first to be sure someone will be there. 6. Can I send a Meat Box as a Gift?We can arrange for personalised messages to be included with your gift and you can specify a different delivery address to the invoice address. 7. PrivacyWe don't give, sell or swap any of the information you give us with anyone else.
